The Quiet Belt Training
How do you thin out your belt throughout the range without flipping into head voice?
âĽď¸ The Quiet Belt technique gives you the foundation to be limitless without losing the intensity and power.
âĽď¸ Accessing this dynamic freedom is crucial for the studio and stage!
âĽď¸ It will make your voice last longer and even make your voice less tired..!

What is "The Quiet Belt"?
Let's just face it, we never full on big belt a whole song. We need to have dynamics within our singing, making it sound like one voice. It can be hard to keep the intensity while thining out our vocal folds, the risk is we have a voice break and flip into something that doesn't match up with our desired sound...Â
Breath pressure from underneath the vocal folds, and our vocal folds themselves including the muscles within them, are just one part of the story that creates closure. EXTRA LONG closure is what we want in belting for it to sound intense and powerful. The "Quiet Belt" teaches you how to use all other forces other than the vocal folds and subglottal pressure to get those vocal folds together! Then the vocal folds can get some rest - doesn't that sound nice? :)
The Quiet Belt is also a fabulous way to find all the gradiations of what some would call mix voice and mix belt. We will experiement with this together on the LIVE session on November 30th at 1pm EST!

Hi there, singer!
My name is Matilda Lindell - a voice coach, Certified Master Trainer in Estill Voice Training, and touring singer. I'm dividing my time performing the stages across the US, and helping professional and aspiring singers to discover their vocal superpowers and pursue their voice goals. and I'm loving every piece of it! Being on the road and having a busy life as a singer, I had to find a way to a sustainable technique, to keep on touring and doing what I love. The benefits of experimenting right there on stage has been an extreamly valuable part. I would love to share my experiences and strategies with you!
